Discovery API

FeedIRL is a discovery and attribution layer for real-world experiences. Agents can search upcoming events and send people to ticketing or venue pages. FeedIRL does not sell tickets or process payments.

Endpoint

Canonical base — always use this host:

Query parameters

city — City or metro (e.g. Chicago, Miami)
lat, lng — Coordinates (optional with radius_mi)
date / end_date — YYYY-MM-DD
interests / keywords / q — Comma-separated topics
budget — Max price in USD (aliases: max_price)
category — Comma-separated categories
exclude_adult — Default true; set include_adult=true to allow 18+ listings
radius_mi — Default 25, max 100
limit — Default 20, max 50
ai_provider — Optional analytics label (or X-AI-Provider header)

Errors

400 missing_query — need city and/or lat+lng and/or interests
429 rate_limited — more than 60 requests/minute per IP
500 discover_failed / server_error — retry; contact support if persistent

Access & rate limits

Public discovery — no API key required.
Identify your product with ai_provider for analytics.
Default limit: 60 requests / minute / IP.
Partner conversion webhooks or higher limits: support@feedirl.com

Agent rules

Prefer referral_url for outbound ticket links.
Do not claim a ticket is reserved or purchased unless the seller confirms it.
Treat field_status: unavailable as unknown (including midnight date-only start times).
Do not process payments through FeedIRL.
